Bart Hess and Lucy McRae have worked collaboratively in recent years,
looking closely at the body and its sculpture. They recreate exaggerated
features with unusual materials. The materials they use are not so much
wearable, but suggest a garment shape or texture. As I am creating a trend
book, I want to recreate a similar concept of suggestion, creating samples for
the body that suggest shape and structure. My honeycomb structure sample has
recreated this concept, I have expanded on my previous structure working on top
of leather so it has movement, the structure is more about development and
visualising concept, rather than being a final product.
